Here is a nice solution for my entrance way. This one will be one of many projects that need to be done to make my landing strip nice and organized. One day it shall be done.

Here is another modular piece that can be customized to your liking. Not to sure about how it looks personally not my style maybe. But I dig the idea.

Awesome idea! I love the look of it too. But why does this have to be so expensive. The white one goes for $25 a pop
I love the idea of modular items like this that you can group to make customized installations out of. But if one of them costs this much it will quickly become too expensive to do anything. I don’t think one of these would be any good. The bunch in the photo below can easily be over a 100 balloons and that would cost you $2500 for a bunch of balloons and led lights… wow. This is when I start thinking there must be a way to make it myself for less.

How many books do you have that are the same size? And how are you going to find your book? Still think it’s pretty cool, maybe because I design icons

I certainly dig the concept, I bet you can make something really cool out of it. I just wonder how much it would cost to buy enough of these to make one of these big structures… Maybe I’ll change my perspective when I start making high end design products some day, but why do good design have to always cost so much?
Clouds can be shaped into freeform designs that hang from the ceiling, adhere to the wall, or grow from the ground…
Clouds are available in packs of 8 or 24 pieces, in a range of seven color combos. They can be used as sculptural pieces, soundproof wall coverings, or to create “pods” of fabric in a home.
The Bouroullec Brothers explain that the project evolved out of a desire to make modern homes more soft and welcoming. They’re also interested in modular products that can be easily adapted and individualized by consumers.
For more information, check out this special site for Kvadrat Clouds. Kvadrat textiles are distributed in the U.S. through Maharam, although we haven’t yet found a direct U.S. retailer.

Love the look of this counter top.
Its a laboratory countertop or in it’s technical terms, a high density phenolic resin. It is fairly similar to Richlite or Paperstone, which are considered low density phenolic resin countertops, only it is harder and not necessarily green as the paper content is neither recycled or from sustainably harvested forests. The advantage though is the cost.

Wow, you have to check out the slide show to get a better idea of the space. 344 square feet! ,000 when he bought his home where he grew up, the renovation took a year and cost 8,000. What an obsession. Many cool ideas for small space living for sure.
Nicknamed Domestic Transformer, Architect Gary Chang’s small Hong Kong apartment can be manipulated into 24 different layouts within the 344-square-foot space. The New York Times shows us how an immense collection of sliding wall units, fold-down tables & chairs and a hydraulic Murphy bed made the tiny space into a multi-functional masterpiece…
The large windows are yellow-tinted — washing the apartment in an odd sunny glow, reflected in the shiny black granite floor. By moving different walls and folding furniture, Chang can reveal a massive wall of books and storage, a large Duravit tub, a small kitchen, a steam shower, a video game room, a bedroom, library and even a hammock.
